Rule 144 of the SEC provides the guidelines for public reselling of restricted or controlled securities of SEC registered companies in the market. Rule 144 also describes the conditions and process for removal of restrictive legends on stock certificates. AppTech Payments Corp. shareholders who hold securities that are stamped with a restrictive legend will not be able to remove the legend with issuer consent until the company is deemed Rule 144 eligible by the SEC and qualified securities counsel.
