Job Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Head of Product, the Senior Technical Business Analyst will work with internal business stakeholders to
drive the development and implementation of Aptech’s products and services and the adoption of enterprise level
processes across the organization. The successful candidate will work both the technology team (Product Design and
Development) and the leadership in each department to drive the achievement of technology-related projects and will
act as the primary project manager for multiple simultaneous initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the key liaison between the business and technology teams; Use data to help support research and hypotheses;
Research and identify strategic opportunities to add value to the business through the technology portfolio and improved
processes; Convert ideas and hypotheses into concise business and product requirements as well as proposals to present
to stakeholders.

Qualifications:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in computing science, Finance or Business, or equivalent work experience is required; Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) is preferred; a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) and/or ITIL Foundation would be an asset
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

5-7 years of business analysis and/or agile project management experience/ FinTech, SAAS, or bankingindustry.
- Experienced in gathering business requirements and translating them to functional requirements.
- Skilled at building business cases and providing and creating reports and presentations.

Knowledgeable in use cases and wireframes to assist customers with identifying business requirementsand scope; Strong analytical skills and experience with Excel and other tools for creating formulationsand reports.
- Experienced with change management processes.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Jira.
- Experienced working in agile/scrum environments.
- Excellent communication & documentation skills.
