We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Product Owner to join our team and help take our product lines to new heights.
Summary
The Senior Product Owner will work closely with our development teams and stakeholders to define and prioritize the product backlog, create user stories, and ensure that the scope and direction of our fintech products are always aligned with our business objectives.
Essential Functions
- Work closely with leadership to define the product roadmap, vision, and strategy.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it aligns with the product strategy and meets the needs of the market.
- Define user stories and acceptance criteria and prioritize them based on changing business needs.
- Work with the development teams to ensure they understand the vision for the product and are designing great features for our users.
- Coordinate with stakeholders across the business to understand their needs and translate them into product requirements.
- Regularly review and report on the progress of the product, suggesting changes in alignment with market feedback and business strategy.
Experience
- 6+ years of experience as a Product Owner within Fintech (Payments, Banking, P2P Payments, etc) or related industry.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, or related work experience.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Experience working with Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.
- Extensive knowledge of financial markets, banking, digital payment solutions, and competitors in the space.
- Understanding of the Software Development Product Lifecycle
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with development and productivity tools such as Figma, Jira/Confluence, Miro, MS Office.
- Strong project management, leadership, and team-building skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and sales.
- High level of comfort with data analysis and using data to inform decisions.
- Ability to work with leadership to drive product and feature priorities and tradeoff decisions.
